I have always been a pudgy person. But somehow the swimming and dance classes kept the pudginess in place during school days. Then along came 10th standard and studies became the focal point of existence (as was the case with every other kid around me) and I became fatter.
Let's reserve the flashbacks for a later day. Here's my plan: To eat healthy and exercise every.single.day. Every day, I will post my food and exercise diary here and I hope I get sincere and disciplined and serious about my body in this whole thing.
Day 1:
This is what I ate yesterday.
Breakfast - 2 Brown bread slices, toasted + 2 egg whites omlette
Mid-morning - 1 Toblerone chocolate - entire (some 8 pieces)
Late afternoon - Masala oats - 1 pack
Evening - 6-7 dry sev puris (only the puris)
Night - Brown rice + veg stir fry in schezwan sauce (Cabbage + Capsicum + Carrot + Tomato)
Post-dinner - 1 Mango
Exercise - Zilch. The only time I did any physical activity was when I went out to get groceries.
Hmm.. Doesn't make me feel good now that I am writing all this.
Day 2:
Here's hoping a different day today.
I am at work now...my plan is to reach by 9 every day and spend the first 30 mins planning my day. People at my workplace usually come by 9:30. And I hope the first 30 mins give me the time to introspect in peace.
Breakfast: Wheat flakes in warm milk.
It's 9:30 now, so I shall get started on the work front. Plan is to drink atleast 3 bottles of water. (I usually drink 1) and also some green tea. Ohh. My water bottle is missing from my desk btw! (This has never happened before!!) I have also packed one orange/kino which I will have any time the hunger pangs strike. My lunch is usually at office cafeteria but I promise to pick the healthier foods.
So here's wishing me ALL THE BEST! :)
Cheers,
PP
